Roman Gate

The gate was built as a Roman ruin in the classical style and was modeled on a Roman triumphal arch of Titus.

It was built in 1829 as a permanent ruin based on the Arch of Titus in Rome. At the time of the Czartoryski (same as now) it was one of the entrances to the park. It is located just left of the bridge spanning the Głęboka Street, as view from the park. You can walk up to it straight down the avenue leading from the wall Zolkiewski in the Gothic House.
