MDK Koszutka organizes numerous cultural events, such as a literary salon in which meetings are held with the personalities of world culture, including theater, literature and media. The meetings of the Literary Salon, among others visited Anna Dymna, Gustav Holubek, Wiktor Zborowski, Gabriela Kownacka, Agnieszka Krukówna, Krystyna Czubówna, Moira Kelly, Christina Loska, Jerzy Duda-Gracz, Catherine Grochola, Elizabeth Jaworowicz, Wojciech Kilar, brothers Golcowie, Kazimierz Kaczor, Olgiert Lukasiewicz, prof. Jan Miodek, Beata Pawlikowska, Jan Peszek, Krzysztof Pieczynski, Andrzej Seweryn, Stanislaw Tym, Grazyna Wolsey, Barbara Bursztynowicz and many others. House of Culture organizes concerts by artists from the Silesian Opera in Bytom, the nearby theaters. Travelers Club is at work here, and the Film Academy, organized theater performances for children and youth, classes in ballroom dancing.
