Church was built in the years 1929-30, designed by Hans Herkommer from Stuttgart, famous architect from the Bauhaus school. The church represents an interesting avant-garde architectural design of the 1930s.
Its interior, designed in catacomb-like style is decorated with interesting polychromy and stained glass windows. In the main altar one can admire one of the biggest in Europe wooden crucifixes – 7 metres high, made of a single piece of wood. In the vestibule, a commemorative plate for the Poles killed during the World War II was placed.
