The parish in Gogołów was founded in the 2nd half of the 14th century. The original Church is mentioned in sources in 1595. The current one was erected in 1672 with the foundation of Jaku and Joachim Rojowski, heirs of Gogołów.
The Church was renovated in 1872-1874 and in 1874-1881. It was slightly damaged during the Second World War, renovated. The Church is oriented, in log construction with tower of post and beam and framework construction. The temple is a tripartite structure consisting of a chancel and a nave much wider than the chancel, and a tower in the western part. There are three 17th century rectangular portals, closed with ogee arcs.
