This Church, called Parish Church, is the oldest religious building in the city.
The Church is located on Plac Wolności Square. It was built probably in the second quarter of the fourteenth century, and was rebuilt in 1678, still the tower dates from 1732. The Church has retained its original character of the three-nave basilica with a presbytery closed on three sides, girdled with the buttresses. The interior is decorated with star-shaped vaults, reconstructed in 1945-1958 after the devastation during the World War II.
The most valuable furnishing are the late Gothic group of the late Crucifixion and the Organ from 1651, made in the workshop of Werner from Elblag as well as the historic pulpit, confessionals and restored altar.
