Gothic fortifications built in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, stone and brick.
Including: walls, almost completely preserved, around the old town and partly buttressed, two square gate towers at the ends: "Polish" from the east and "German" from the west, with ogival crossings and superstructures in the upper parts, the tower "Sandy" in the southern part of the wall perimeter, square with shooting windows and a part of watered moat preserved on over 100 meter stretch. In the neighbourhood of Byczyna there is an attractive property - a replica of a medieval castle that serves as the Czech-Polish knights training centre.
