The Church is one of the neo-gothic churches in the region.
It was built in the first decade of the twentieth century and the foundation stone was laid on 24 May 1901, as evidenced by a plaque on the corner of the façade. It is an aisle-less Church, with a separate, narrower and slightly lower presbytery and the built in tower; the last tower was partly burned in the eighties of the twentieth century and it is lower compared to the original.
