The village was founded in the fifteenth century. In 1756 there is a mention of the Church funded by Łażewski family. The present Church was built in 1858. Next to the Church, there is a stone bell tower.
Orthodox Church in Rabe was a filial Church of the parish in Hoszow. After the year 1951 the Church was abandoned and used as a warehouse. Since 1971 it served as Roman Catholic Church. The Church is oriented. The building is divided in three parts, with the carcass construction, converging walls, inside there is one space, with the sanctuary separated by the iconostasis. In the western part there is slung choir with the railing with decoratively cut boards.
