The main altar holds a copy of the miraculous painting with the scene of the Dormition and Assumption. The original burned in "mysterious circumstances" in 1968 and only on 11 August 2006, the Institute of National Remembrance has officially confirmed the burning of paintings by the Security Service and qualified the event as a communist crime.
The monastery houses the Museum of the Society of Jesus of the South Polish Province.
