The facility is the largest and oldest toy museum in Poland.
On 631 square metres of exhibition space there are few thousand items. Visitors can see several exhibitions, including dolls from around the world, historical and folk toys, Barbie dolls, model cars, airplanes, ships, electric train and theatre puppets.
Visiting the museum is an extraordinary adventure for children because of the interactive exhibition that young explorers of the history of toys can not only see but also touch the exhibits. During the tour the children have a chance to play in the play area, and in the summer also in the courtyard of the Museum.
Museum of Toys and Play is a historic 19th century building of the market halls. Every day at noon, Baba Yaga, carved by Arkadiusz Latos, and mounted on a tower by a watchmaker Bonifacy Komorowski, "flies" from the clock tower.
