Orthodox Church dedicated to the Decapitation of St John the Baptist in Szczyty-Dzięciołowo Commissioned by Jan Węgierski in 1785, the church was developed between 1850 and 1878. Right next to the temple, there is a stone statue of St John of Nepomuk (1758) which was originally meant for the park surrounding the Branicki Palace in Białystok.
Next to the church there is a wooden belfry built in 1785.
The oldest icons that decorate the church’s interior were painted by Jan Mirys, Grand Hetman Jan Klemens Branicki’s court painter.
