The village Ploski boasts an Orthodox Church dedicated to the Transfiguration of Christ built at the dawn of the 18th century. The Holy (Royal) Doors that constitute the central element of the iconostasis date back exactly to that period. Next to the Orthodox church there is a small shrine in the form of a column referred to as ‘the lantern of the dead’.
