Orthodox Church built on a high bank of the Włodawka River, next to the synagogue and the catholic Church - is one of the proofs of Włodawa multiculturalism.
Orthodox Church was founded by Count August Zamoyski in the forties of nineteenth century. It was originally a Uniate Church in 1875, after the dissolution of the union in the Russia it was transformed into Eastern Orthodox Church, and in 1888 it was rebuilt in the Byzantine and Classical style. Building on a Greek cross with a distinctive dome and three apsel. Its interior is decorated with wall paintings and iconostasis of the nineteenth century.
