Parish Church of Beheading of St. John the Baptist was built in Pyzdry together with the buildings of a monastery in the fourteenth century as a Franciscan monastery complex.
The Church and the monastery adjacent to it from the north side are located on the edge of a high escarpment by the Warta River. In 1864 there was the appeal of the monastery. By the west façade there is a tower with a porch on the ground floor and on the north side - the Chapel of Our Lady from the seventeenth century.
