A simple country girl - Karolina Kózka was abducted and murdered by a Russian soldier in the woods near her home at the age of 16. From the beginning, the local parish priest and people called it murder martyrdom. Pilgrims look in in her family home, in which there is a small museum, the Church where she was baptized and where lie her mortal remains (relics of Blessed Karolina are in a tin coffin inside the sarcophagus, on both sides of which there are two kneeling angels, shielding the girl with wings) and light candles at the place where she was murdered.
