A unique place for the Orthodox faith believers.
St Onufry Monastery is considered to be the oldest Orthodox monument in Poland. It is thought to exist from 15th century, same as the miraculous icon of St Onufry, the patron of the monastery. Second beautiful icon is the one presenting the Mother of God in a silver dress. In the middle of 19th century an Orthodix church was build in a place of the monastery. Every year on the 24-25 of June many faithful of the Orthodox faith come here to celebrate their faith.
