The Greek Catholic church dedicated to the Dormition of the Most-Holy Theotokos was built in 1693.
In the 18th c., the nave and the women’s gallery were restructured: the canopy of the nave was dismantled and substituted by an arcade, and a tower was constructed above the women’s gallery. The church was renovated in 1958 and in 1990. Since the construction of the masonry church in 1924, it hasn’t served as church. The 18th c. renovation did not erase its archaic form which is until today one of the most precious wooden monuments of sacred architecture in southeastern Poland.
