The former Greek Catholic church dedicated to The Nativity of the Most-Holy Theotokos (a Catholic chapel since 1947) was erected in 1586. Initially, it had a single-dome body and probably a small bell tower above the women’s gallery.
A new sanctuary was erected in 1816 and a new women’s gallery in 1835. The temple was considerably modified before 1903 (the nave was widened with two open aisles). The general renovation of the building had been carried out between 199 and 2001 (the reconstruction of the nave’s walls). Special attention must be paid to the iconostasis wall with its polychrome. The present-day bell tower was transferred from Majdan Sieniawski in 1994.
