Preserved part of the city walls, which formerly did close the town with the ring with a circumference of 800 m.
This fragment shows that the defensive walls were built of stone and had a height of about 6 m. The walls were built in the XIV - XV century on the site of earlier wooden and soil fortifications. In the nineteenth century it was demolished. The preserved section survived because in the seventeenth century there was a building of the town prison built just next to it, which is now the seat of the Diocese.
