The Greek Catholic church dedicated to Archangel Michael was erected in 1791 (a Catholic church since 1973).
It was abandoned in 1951 and renovated in 1969, at that time its original form was restored. Inside, an 18th c figurative polychrome remained. The chapel in Smolnik belongs to the few tripartite dome churches in the southeastern Poland. They were common on the Boykos’ lands but were destroyed after 1947.
