The Living Open-Air Museum Pastewnik

The complex of the historic wooden architecture transported from different streets of Przeworsk and the villages Krzeczowice and Gac. It is one of the few in Poland "living open-air museum".

The aim of this project was to rescue the material culture of fathers and grandparents, as well as finding for each of the transported buildings the features that would be similar to the function performed in the past. The objects had to be maintained from the own funds, as assumpted, earned through the hotel and camping services.

The project "Przeworsk Ideas" was to include 14 historic wooden buildings of the middle class of Przeworsk and restore the nineteenth century Przeworsk "Galician" market, seven farm pens, a water mill, a sawmill and a windmill, the manor house and the villagers house.
