Towers of Town Walls

Towers of Town Walls - full of history, fortification worth visiting.

Fragments of town walls and two towers come from XV century. The buildings are made of stone and brick in polish system. There was build a building into those towers from 1925 in shape of inverted letter "L". It is known that the town walls had already existed in 1327, but the oldest document confirming existance of the towers comes from1399. The stamp on the document presents a wall with two towers. They were used for many reasons, as an arsenal, a town prison, a youth hostel and as a water tower. In 1959 the towers were adapted to a museum of Prudnik Land which has been existing up till now.
