Jakub Böhme House this is place, where lived this medieval philosopher.

Jakub Böhme lived in this house in 1599-1610. In 1600, he experienced a spiritual enlightenment which changed his way of thinking and living. That experience reoccurred in 1610. Inspired in this way, he wrote Jutrzenka o poranku (Aurora at Dawn) in 1612. In 1619, he created the work Opis trzech zasad boskiej istoty (A Decription of the Three Principles of the Divine Spirit), and two more later on: Czterdzieści pytań dotyczących dusz (Forty Questions Concerning Souls) and O wcieleniu Jezusa Chrystusa (About the Incarnation of Jesus Christ). His works met with a hostile reception by the clergymen, who considered him to be a heretic. J. Böhme died in November, 1624. His philosophical theories greatly influenced the later mystics, like Adam Mickiewicz or Isaac Newton. The memory of J. Böhme is cultivated by "Polskie Stowarzyszenie Euroopera" (The Polish Euroopera Society) which opened the chamber of memory in his family house. Visiting the house, one may feel like a J. Böhme's guest, see the collections of photographs and objects and broaden the knowledge about the master's life and work.
