The tower, located on the western shore of Lake Pierty, the second largest lake in the Wigry National Park, provides the view of the lake and surrounding forests. You will find it 400 m away from the Black Route, leading from Stary Folwark to Nowa Wieś. The landscape in this part of the park is strongly undulating. The name of the lake is derived from the Lithuanian word pirtis, which means baths.
